Drumming and composing for over 40 years
Having grown up with big-band and afro-cuban dance music, I went on to learn latin percussion and drums and played in clubs and recording studios in London and around the world. Some people remember me from the pop scene in the 60's and 70's when I played with artists such as Cat Stevens and Georgie Fame.
I was also well known in the jazz field and played with some of the best English musicians as well as participating in the jazz course at Dartington College in Devon and the Guildhall School of Music in London.
For the past 24 years, I've also been working as a Rolfer®, a body-oriented psycho-therapist and movement teacher. In 2001 I became a member of the international faculty of the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, and have since taught groups of all sizes in Germany, Italy, Austria and the US.
Rolfing® is a fantastic tool for freeing restrictions in the human body, enabling people to move with more ease. I've run successful practices in London, Munich, Reykjavik and Vienna, and work with people from all backgrounds and professions to explore their physical and personal potential.
Musicians, performers and artistes treasure this kind of work for the way it frees their creative possibilities. Business people and those who are in the public eye, value the improvement in posture, movement and well-being made possible by Rolfing®.
